Civil Market

INTEK supports manufacturers in the civil sector in validating electrical and electronic technologies, ensuring safety and reliability for the introduction of compliant products into domestic, residential, and commercial environments..

The civil market encompasses all electrical, electronic, and mechatronic equipment intended for domestic, residential, and light commercial use: household appliances, home automation systems, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, system components, connected devices (IoT), radio equipment, and integrated systems for smart buildings.

This is a market regulated by very precise technical standards—from electrical safety (LVD) to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), up to the radio requirements of the RED Directive—which requires thorough and documentable testing to ensure quality, performance, and user safety.

The independent INTEK laboratory supports companies, manufacturers, and designers throughout the entire validation process for products intended for the consumer market, offering accredited testing, advanced infrastructure, and expertise recognized both nationally and internationally.
